If you think about it too...........a lot of these guys out paying big money for hunting are probably pretty wealthy, or at the least have high paying jobs. Spouses of the injured party/widows could probably sue for some pretty serious coin...........and their award may be justified.
Before could get Insurance coverage for hunting had to provide copy of the Hunting lease contract to the Insurance company.
In addition to liability coverage that I had to buy, the hunters( tenants) have to provide proof they have x amount of liability insurance coverage.
Also in the Hunting lease contract there is a section that contains this " Tenants shall indemnify and hold harmless landlord for any accidents that occur as a result of the Tenants use of the land., By signing this agreement, Tenants take full responsibility in understanding the risks associated with the activities to be undertaken."
