Record soybean exports to china were in 2016 before tariffs. Exports dropped to just 22% of that level the year tariffs went into effect. We used to set a new record export number every couple of years leading to the tariffs and have been stagnet since.
I still stand by that those tariffs are the single worst thing to ever happen to me financially.
