Subject: Election year rally history for grains

Election years tend to be big ones for the grains.

How big?

Here is our average rallies from January 1st to our highs for the year during every election year since 2004.

Corn:  + $1.52 3/4
Beans:  + $3.89 1/2
Wheat:  + $1.84

Will this year follow the same trend?

One thing to keep in mind if Trump is elected is the potential implications or possible trade war with China.

Below are charts with the average rallies, highs, lows, etc. For the data I used the front month contracts.
