| I can’t believe anyone would attempt marketing a non ag product to farmers. We are literally the tightest bunch in the USA. The farmers that did fall for gimmicks went out of business in the 80s. Also there’s a stigma of being a “farm wife” that most try to avoid like the plague. Instead of “farm themed products” most wives want to one up their town friends with Escalades, 5 car garage’s, boats, trips to foreign countries, etc. Marketing some of those ideas would put a pile more cash in your pocket then some Jenny Craig knockoff that farm wives won’t admit to taking and town folk wouldn’t dream of taking as the word “farm” is instantly equated to having roundup as an active ingredient.
