Our 2366 has the front 14 inches of the chaffer on a separate adjustment which may do the same thing when closed more than the rear of the chaffer.I can't remember when this was started on corn soy machines.I have had problems with getting corn in the fan going down steep hills and I think this could be compounded by removing wires.
Cutting a sieve on a 2188 CIH?? Anyone hear of this?
