Martinsville, Ohio
Good post John. Lots of great thinking there.

You and I learned early on we are what we are because of the soil we deal with.

This is why soil pits about now are so valuable for examination of soil compared to root development.

Each region varies in base alkalinity and acidity.

As you have said many times John that is why oxygen is so important in the improvement of soil capability.

We are dealing with soil thousands and millions of years old affected by the action of man in the last 200-300 years in this country.

The scientists I have worked with understand this much more than I do but they don't know diddly about making a profit from it.

They dedicated their life to science and we dedicated our life to making food from it.
