Michigan

Will it be released if it only has US and canadian approval?

How does Monsanto calculate the 5-10 percent yield advantage for Genuity™ SmartStax?

A: Field trials conducted by Dow AgroSciences and Monsanto, have shown that most farms should see 5 to 10 percent on-farm yield increase with GenuitySmartStax.

The 5 to 10 percent yield advantage is a function of reducing the refuge from 20 to 5 percent in the Corn Belt and 50 to 20 in the cotton growing areas of the South and from improved efficacy and broader spectrum insect control. The exact benefit will depend on which refuge requirement applies and the level of insect pressure experienced on-farm.
