A: Field trials conducted by Dow AgroSciences and Monsanto, have shown that most farms should see 5 to 10 percent on-farm yield increase with Genuity™ SmartStax. The 5 to 10 percent yield advantage is a function of reducing the refuge from 20 to 5 percent in the Corn Belt and 50 to 20 in the cotton growing areas of the South and from improved efficacy and broader spectrum insect control. The exact benefit will depend on which refuge requirement applies and the level of insect pressure experienced on-farm. | |
