I'm going to say it will all average out in the end. The stalks/plants that are too close will have a smaller ear, the plants that have more space around them will have a longer/bigger ear or maybe two ears, which will make up the difference in yeild for the smaller ear. Now if we can just get some of that rain on the radar tonight - it will make the most difference in yeild . . . . Hopefully 4 inches overnight and into tommorrow.   lol
