Subject: It's never good when...

Saronville, NE
Don't know if this has been discussed on the forum or not, but my husband just called and said "Do you think my finger will be okay??" Of course, I ask "Why? What did you do to it?" Then he shares with me how he managed to split his thumb clear open while changing an oil filter this afternoon. We discussed how much/how long it had been bleeding, how deep the cut was, how big the cut was, if it is gaping open, (the usual criteria I can think of for stitches, ya know?). He never fails to disappoint my low pain tolerance by sharing the gory details I don't really care to know, like how the blood was gushing and how it hurt like a *%#$% (@&!^$* and continues to throb while it is wrapped tightly in what I hope is a clean shop rag, secured with electrical tape!

Anyway, hearing about your mishaps might just lift his spirits when he gets home and reads this post later! TIA!!
