Wouldn’t it work to put in a 50# pressure return valve and still use ground drive and section control? Anytime pressure gets above 50# valve bypasses and returns to even a loop on inlet side of pump. Simple and effective and easy to install.


My main question was to the reply about using the extra switches on the InCommand switch box without a module for working with the fertilizer.

Having a control valve plumbed in bypass on a path back to the tank or inlet of the pump could handle the rate situation by bypassing excess back to the tank or inlet of the pump. Having another path with a pressure relief valve back to the tank or inlet of the pump should protect the pump from excessive back pressure. Here's a rough drawing of the plumbing. The flow meter, control valve and ON/OFF section valves would be connected to an Ag Leader Liquid Product Control Module configured as bypass control. The ground driven pump would be set to deliver slightly more than the most flow ever needed.
