Questions for those of you who are paying someone to manage your farm data. Things like yield maps, soil maps, VR prescription creation, etc. I’m considering offering a service for this stuff.

What are you paying? And what do you get for that?

.79/acre gets me unlimited prescriptions for fertilizer and seeding for all crops. Soil sampling separate. Guy comes out and takes data out of the monitor to put in their system for scrips. Prints off yield maps while he's at it. I could do that, but he already has the information. He gives me the flash drive so I can put stuff into SMS when he's done for my own use.

They have a bunch of sub programs involved in it if a person wanted, but each stacks on another buck or 2 or 3/acre for whatever each is. One figures ROI on each zone in the field based on everything done during the year...chem/cost, seed/cost, appication rates, fuel, etc. I don't know off the top of my head what the rest are, but I just do the basics.
