I'm 60 and have never had a cavity. The dentist we went to x-rayed every three years for me. Then a new dentist took over the office and wanted to put fillings in my molars. Said they were deeply creviced. No cavities, just had him concerned. Left that dentist and now go to a hygienist. Haven't had an x- ray for 4 years now.
