Subject: RE: Big crop?

Minnesota/Kentucky fertility based on ENERGY
We returned from a trip south this afternoon and picked parts at Case Dealer in Altura, MN. While speaking with a sales associate, he brought up some big numbers for our area, 290 BPA. I have raised corn in SE Minnesota with high yields, but I didn't think we had that large a crop. So I scouted some of our corn just outside Rochester, and even the punky stuff is 20 X 31 36,000 population. The dog and I measured three times; the funny part there not that long ears but heavy little guys. So I decided it would be time to apply another round of 8-0-0 with humates and sea salt. If we are going to fill those little guys out, this is the year to do it.
