My opinion-you’d be better off with longer stroke, smaller bore. More forgiving of bad geometry.

I’ve done 4”x16” or 20” on box scrapers that have similar long swing arms. I’ve always made best guess with tape measure and calculator then come up with some other way to cycle through the range of motion before permanently welding anything together.
