The problem is the ground is to wet were we are and we have no choice but to run over it and seed. The plants roots then are trying to grow in compacted soil. Its tough to wait for the right time frame when the ground will be dry enough to work just right. It never happened this spring. My soils have a CEC rating in the low to mid 30’s. Nasty clay.
