Real Iowa soaker!! Under red and yellow on radar and didn't get the sidewalk wet. All the experts that watch a radar screen and assume it's raining! i was in Ankeny/Polk city area for the fourth Wkd., morning of 4th it stormed for couple hours, water still standing in low spots that evening on way home. That area recieved 2”, are you saying you never got the sidewalk wet out of that one either? You’re mapdot says central iowa, Polk city about as central as Iowa gets, and your sidewalk never got wet? That be pretty hard to believe, possible I guess, but unlikely. 35 miles east of Mason city here, have had 1.8” since Monday morning, spread out over two systems. Very high potential here. Another good rain first of August, and Joe R could actually be half assed correct.
