SE Iowa | Got 1 to 2 tenths here, 1 to 2 inches was forecast. We're holding on but lawn is brown. In 51 crops, I've had more loss due to dry, hot conditions then too wet. 1977, 83, 87, 88, 89, 2012, 19 that I remember well. Memory fails me on several other years. 1993 too wet as we drown. Early 2000's were very good, 2014 and 16 were best ever for corn. 2021 was best ever for beans. | |
