Central Iowa | Anyone else experiencing distorted smell and taste after having Covid? Lost smell and taste for 3 days while positive for Covid and it returned completely normal. Then 3 months later started noticing distorted tastes and smells. It has progressively gotten worse, and to the point now that almost everything tastes bad. All green vegetables, Onions and peppers, greasy/fatty meats, chicken, anything fried, anything cooked in oil, butter, etc, even cheese di[p at the Mexican restaurant . Going on 11 months of this now.
Has anyone had any successful remedies for this? I'm ready to be able to taste and smell normally again. Nothing to be found on the internet of any use, and seems most doctors that have been asked about this are so new to the problem of Parosmia they are unaware of any treatments. | |
