Holland, Indiana (SW IN) | Hey Bristol, bb940, and all the other input
Bristol ---we tried cereal Rye probably 10 or so years back (even if it's wrong to go all in-- we did) longest spring ever wet like this year-- killed it at about 5' tall (had a 2100 Hagie with big floats)
Ground "soured" think we had over 1000 acres of prevent.....probably our fault ---be hard to plant cereal rye CC again
really liking the ARG so far decomposing quite quickly would have liked to kill ARG sooner but thought too cold to kill
For my question about N think I'm going to count on 20# from the 180# applied last fall Thanks for the formula bb940
SO put on 30# N with the planter---- side dress 56 gal of --32% N thiosol mix 32% N 50 gal ------thiosol 6 gal ---about 220# of N added to the 180# with the litter last fall (20# I'm counting on from the litter) SO 240# of N I can count on
Got a good stand of corn thinking (HOPING) 230 Bu yield .................all in GOD'S hands now
Thanks guys I will post as we go along
Dan
