Northeast Nebraska | In addition to the above two things to check, check to be sure the carb mounting bolts are snug. I have one too and after taking it for a ride in my pick-up down the road for 100 miles or so, the carb was loose from the engine block. Never had that happen before and it sure didn't want to run... I happened to see that it was loose (as I was getting ready to remove it!)
