Thanks for the info.  Unfortunately our 1200 planter is limited to the V27 of the Pro700 software and the option to import shapefiles (with the Import2 tab) is not available on that version.  Otherwise I am sure that would work.  Our agronomist ended up using his SMS program to successfully import Climate prescriptions to a file the Pro700 can read.  I am not sure exactly how he did that but at least we got it working for this season.  Apparently the Climate derived file does not work with the older Pro700.  Just like computers you are forced to upgrade hardware eventually to be able to use the software you need to use even the hardware is just fine.  I recently discovered I have to buy a new Ipad as there are a number of programs that will not work with it even though I am more than happy with my old Ipad.  In fact I would be happy to use my old 10-15 year old computers if not for the fact I needed to upgrade to use newer software.  I think it is called "planned obsolescence".
