If a product has been used in the past the assumed target rate is the previous target rate until you change it. With a test situation you may use a new product that has not been used with the system so there is no previous target rate so the system assumes a rate of zero. The section valves don't open because the target rate is zero.
This plus no high current power to the Liquid Module, implement switch and auto swath active covers the majority of the "booms don't turn on" problems. Testing with water is a good idea but sometimes we get confused in the test. |
