| At 13 years, your units have served you well. I'm in the same spot, just can't get rid of the Trimble yet as the equipment it's in is aging and the units still work... For the most part.
At the time, Trimble was the best out there. Deere was new and still very much stuck on their own equipment. I had hardly heard of AgLeader.
I think Trimble has just lost interest in Ag and has instead decided to focus on surveying and construction. AgLeader has their very loyal users, and Deere has equipment so good now, I've read somewhere the US military has admitted Deere has better GPS gear than they have, just can't use it because it has foreign parts in it. CNH now owns Raven, AGCO and Claas have their own solutions and nobody who's anybody wants to work with Trimble anymore. | |
