| Then it was probably the correct system. AgLeader was fresh off the split and scrambled for several years while Trimble had the FMX which was at the time a capable unit. They had their own signals, manufacturing and autosteer platforms.
The real problem is Trimble corporate. Instead of continuing to develop and expand the ag line, they neutered it and never made the newer units what they were originally wanting to do and could have been.
They could have had some excellent products going forward, but the corporate culture poisoned a good thing. | |
