Subject: Are people really feeling the economic pain that we think they are feeling?

In our area, the average line worker in the RV plants have watched their in come grow 30-40k a year since the pandemic started. I have family that owns a large construction business in Georgia and their workers have increased their income by 25-30 percent. I have a lot of friends that have degrees and they getting large pay raises. I don’t see food, transpo, and housing eating up those increases. The last time I looked, credit card debt had decreased since before the pandemic. The ones that I could see really taking it in the shorts are first time home or car buyers because they don’t have one to trade in. I guess that I’m not seeing the pain that everybody on here talks about.
