I could not agree more!  He could pick up a good used Freightliner FL70 or Kenworth T-300, and leave a fair amount of money in his pocket.

The price of these F350's and F450's are nothing short of 'out of this world'. 

A guy that hauls some cattle for us each year used to trade pickups every other year.  He is "semi-retired", and hauls cattle for ranchers to the sale barn.  He used to drive F350's, then he "moved up" to a F450.  Last go-around, when it came time to trade again, he traded alright----and then came up driving a FL70.  Yes, it was used, but WOW it was in great shape.  He said he saved over TEN THOUSAND dollars... To each his own, though...the original poster said he pulled a trailer 95% of the time....he may insist on a nice pickup, instead of a truck, for that other 5%..??
