Woodham, Ontario | Bought a new F350 dually which is going to be attached to a cattle trailer 95% of the time. Need a new gooseneck hitch. Seems most hitch places only sell removable balls. Don't really need it to be removable. Right now have a 20' trailer, but will likely buy a larger trailer down the road. How big of a cattle trailer is safe on a B&W Turnover Gooseneck Hitch? Is there any extra play in those compared a fixed ball?
Also planning to get a line-X liner and trying to figure out when to do that, before the hitch or after. The one hitch place I called, offered to cut all the holes first and then install the hitch under the bed. Sounds really good if the removable ball is strong enough.
Local trailer dealer makes his own, but the paint is terrible and it costs a lot. Doesn't really look a lot stronger... | |
