central - east central Minnesota - | I perfer the Una-goose http://www.una-goose.com/ I don't care for the B&W due to road salt corrosion and dust dirt build up and binding issues, with their mechinism. Now, to be fair, I haven't bought or used a B&W, but know of hitches with that problem around me and didn't want to go there. I also like the chain hook setup. No need to have several holes in the bed to make and easier install. I have had 3 different una-goose hitches and I like the way they are made, installation and no probems with corrosion or gunk build up . . . . I put the hitch in, then had the bed sprayed. It sealed up the exposed steel that was cut out. I made sure the hitch was installed so the coller was just below the truck box bed rib. So if the ball is out of the coller, then there is nothing to hook (like slideing a pallet in and over the ball area). |
