| We have had one for years and we bought it used but in good shape. I use it on a John Deere 4040. I have mowed many miles of creek banks. You would be surprised what it will mow and I have mowed many small trees and sprouts. I mow going forward and in reverse, the blades are sharpened on both sides. The only things I have replaced are some hydraulic hoses and blades, third set. This mower has paid for itself many times over. The biggest drawback in my opinion is that it takes a couple passes because of the 5 ft deck. I am sure that there might be bigger and better mowers, but I only have praise for mine and would buy another one. | |
