Pontiac, IL. | I have one. Have had the same one for years. The hydraulic drives makes it slow on thick, heavy grass/ weeds. Works good but SLOW in heavy grass/weeds. Need a tractor with a SLOW low gear, to keep from having to ride the clutch. Not recommended, but running the PTO faster than 540 helps. ie: using a 1000 PTO with an adapter to achieve about 700 rpms. NO problem with the hinge on mine. | |
