Grimes, IA | I experimented with this a little last night.
tried Cheddar, pepper jack, and I bought some garlic cheese curds I put in as well.
None of em turned out real crispy but like you said good in their own way.
the cheese curds were the best, and easiest to make as there was no cutting or anything, just poured em on the pan.
I read it works better with shredded cheese, parmesan in particular, so I'm gonna try that when I have a chance.
