I agree!

If it is something she truly wants she is not afraid to spend the money. But her general mode is being frugal. Which I greatly appreciate.

Sometimes I have to actually encourage her to spend the money when I see she would really like to have something but it just seems to expensive for her. Usually those things she vacillates on, once I convince her is it would be fine to spend the money, she really enjoys the use of it. Her current new sewing machine was one such purchase. I told her " you have got ten, maybe twenty years of potential use left in your life where you can enjoy using it, go for it". We don't live forever. Once a person has reached a certain level of success, might as well enjoy at least some of the fruits of success.
