| We planted in some stripper header cut stuff for the first time this year with our JD 1770 planter. We have the old style JD single disk fertilizer openers (not the new ones that are more compact like on the 1770 NT but they work fine too or possibly better from what I hear) and a single unit mounted coulter. We didn't have any problems.
