Subject: Re: D4 Cat Water in oil

Central / West Texas
Most likely cracked liner or bad o - ring on liner. Or could be as simply as a bad radiator cap. Might want to check the latter first! Not too bad to replace. Go ahead and do all 4liners. Cat sells a liner piston kit. Those are easy machines to work on we have a 955k and parts are cheap. Machine is easy to work on compared to alot of the sfuff we have. Can pretty much take a 955 apart with a 9/16", 3/4", and a 15/16" wrenches. lol
