Tablerock Ranch eastern Wa
I don't get some of these responses ? you told us you were starting @100 to 200 head, SO i dont think i would buy some 6500 head feedlot halfway across the country to save money ?
You can build one your size for cheap ---- say you build 4 pens, perimeter fence and dividing fences cost me around 6$ a foot ---- drillstem 10' OC with stem top rail with 2 rows of guardrail under that, Drill stem all pounded no concrete. Precast feed bunks with drill stem with top rail and one guardrail brisket bumper @ about $28 to $30. If you are flat and all dirt i would have a GPS guru "my son in my case" to come in and shoot points and make a prescription for a rented Dozer or Grader with Smart grade ---- you will be able to do all the dirt yourself with this system ----you will have dream grades before you pound your first post ! Roads and bunk frontage will cost the most depending on your location to concrete or rock. Best of success !
