Whether you've been labelled anti-vax or not, it's not even arguable what you say is true. Almost everyone believed that vax would prevent Covid infection when released in December of 2020, almost 1 yr ago.  I believe the "experts & politicians" we were encouraged to follow pretty much all said taking the vax would be a 1-time venture into doing away with masks and covid. Then a few months went by and the "uh-ohs" came along. Better keep the masks and get vax. Then, keep the masks, get vax, and get booster if you had certain brands of vax. Then, keep the masks, get vax, and get boosters for ALL brands of vax.

I don't remember any of the experts and politicians saying "get vaxed, get boosters, wear masks, and be prepared to still get Covid....". Maybe I missed it if they did.
