When I decided to farm in early '70's Dad had a David Brown 990 , MF 35 , Super A for tomatoes....planted with 1 row tomato planter, a JD 290 corn planter & a 4 row 24" Superior bean drill and steel wheeled IH grain drill....He did have a MF 510 combine....

We were poor, didn't know it as everybody was the same ,but we all were happy and enjoyed our bneighbours as friends, not competitors like today
