Central Illinois | I ran that setup for the last six years. It was chipped and had the large pump and front duals. It was enough, but had limitations. All the hydraulic were through the tractor and on the rare very warm planting day (90+) the hydraulic cooling could barely keep up. In the field it pulled fine, but I could run out of horsepower on my very few hills. In transport, even with front weights and front duals, I would need to use brakes to assist in turning. I would probably consider it just enough if you are talking about a CaseIH bulk fill planter. With that said, I recently upgraded to a larger tractor to replace the 275. | |
