I went from a MX240 to a 275 this spring.  The huge difference was the high capacity hydraulic pump.  My 1250 24-row came with a PTO pump and I still used it on the 275.  The 275 also came with the suspended front axle that helps the ride.  I am happy with the power from the 275 and if I felt I needed more power, I would add a Steinbauer module.  I wanted to get some seat time with the autosteer in the 275 @nd pulled a 17-knife NH3 without any issues.
