Custer County, Nebraska | I am. I've been solid corn since 2008. I'm planting all soybeans. Fertilizer is too expensive... too dangerous.
I thought about locking in at lower rates... BUT we are dealing with extraordinary economic situations. It is entirely possible for a fertilizer dealer to go bankrupt, leaving me no supply and no money.
IF I bought fertilizer, I can't have it until spring. Fall application doesn't work here.
I have NO intention of being an unsecured creditor.
Anything I purchase I want in my hands immediately.
