I will agree with that. Modern 3-day forecasts are very good. The 7- to 10-day forecasts are decent for the overall trend -- cooler next week with a likely rain event, etc. But beyond that -- say a 30-day forecast -- about all you can predict is a 60% chance of dryer-than-normal. A daily forecast thirty days out? I don't think so. It isn't possible now -- and may never be, given weather's internal randomness.
