Michigan | We are currently in the same situation,Daisy,our family's black Lab is dying of cancer. The growth is in her jaw/ nasual area and makes it hard for her to breath and eat, but she continues to fight. She's been a huge part of our family for 10 yrs.
If I could clone her I would. She's been perfect since she was a pup. Never dug a hole or chewed a shoe, always barked when someone pulled in the yard. Countless sessions playing fetch, always smart enough to stay away from the road(state highway), laying at the foot of the bed every night. I assume within weeks we will be making the decision to end her suffering. The wife, kids and myself will be distraught to say the least.
