West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12 | The cost to charter a private jet the end of October that will take about the same amount of time get me from MSP/Minneapolis to RSW/Ft Meyers, FL as a commercial flight currently costs between $9,393.83 and $12,709.30 one way.
The same one way trip on Sun Country or Spirit the end of October currently costs $54.00...we have flown the one way trip for $39.00.
I have no desire to fly to SWFL in a single engine puddle jumper airplane that often times takes longer to fly the trip than drive depending on the weather.
So yes we fly commercial several times a year, and no we do not feel our rights are being violated in anyway by TSA.
