I agree with JTP, I have shown a very tiny profit on schedule F, but here in MN, unemployment is based on weekly income. I sold a truck load of grain while on winter layoff, I claimed the income on my weekly questionnaire and was inelegable for unemployment that week. Next week I was back to elegable for unemployment.
Keep in mind we both live in socialist MN, free money is readily available.
The whole unemployment system is a joke, I’m sure it’s the same in other states. 1000’s of construction workers collecting unemployment as perfectly able bodied citizens, so they can ice fish all winter, makes me nuts. Yet they all complain about a homeless man getting food stamps.
Where is the free money Minnesotan’s can get that the Dakota folks can’t? Haven’t heard about it. |
