Amherst WI
Its too late for much of the corn belt to make anything worth while in that department now.

I have some really nice alfalfa going into its 4th year next year. I mean REALLY nice, I am trying to decide if I am better off growing corn on it and using the N credit next year or having to deal with God only knows what for a potash price and removing 500#+ per acre of K off of it. The hay market locally is still pretty soft considering what other crops are going for and replacement fertility, if we don't see a response up in that soon it might go to corn. You can go backwards pretty quick raising forage when your not applying removal rates that almost everyone underestimates.
