NE | Have a skidsteer and have spent a fair bit of time borrowing telehandlers too. I have never once thought I would give up the skid for a telehandler but more so would add one to the fleet. The attachment options for a skid are way more plentiful than a telehandler if that makes a difference. Also the skid can be hauled with most pickups but you would need something much more capable to haul a telehandler. That said, working by yourself a skid sure doesn't work as well as a side exit, so if you do find yourself climbing under the arms a lot maybe the telehandler is the way to go. | |
