The Manitou, you will find so many uses you never thought of before. Anything from a mobile sky hook to hang a chain hoist off of, we used the boom feature all the time to make slight adjustments when putting things like a combine auger back on, so much more precise than moving the whole machine, or we use the boom to pull things with precision, I pulled out a bumper on a pickup by myself using it. 

Having the side door means you can reach in and use the controls to move things around if youre working by yourself. 

Our telehandler will outdig a similar sized skid loader, a tracked one at that.
