These mixing valves posted my WestMIguy are a bad idea in my opinion. I had one set up for a hand wash sink, and eventually found that it was allowing hot water supply to pass through and come out other cold water taps.

I have no idea how much “mixed” warm and cold water my cows drank, but I am still bitter about the propane bill.
