Just a few ideas,
Most valves (particularly shower) have a way to set the max temp.
Do you have the owners manual? Look in manual How to set max temp.
Look at your valve,
go online and figure out which valve you have,
go online and figure out how to adjust the temp.
Or
Take a picture of the valve and post it here,
Someone should be able to tell you.
