| I know of several people that their doctor told them to drink 2 beers a day to get rid of their stones. One was a 9 yr old girl, another was a man that only drank hard liquors. Both passed their stones.
I had a kidney stone surgically removed last Dec. Strange thing, I hah no idea I had a kidney stone, no pain whatsoever. I went to the Dr because of having problems urinating., also had qout in my thumb. Blood test should a kidney infection. She asked if I had any pain urinating , next she punched in the kidney area. I about double over in pain. She said I had a kidney stone, sent me for an x-ray & an ultrasound. Came back I had a large kidney stone, too large to pass on my own, and an enlarged prostate. Never had a kidney stone before that I knew of. Surgery wasn't bad, but wearing a catheter for 3 days was pure torture. | |
